This page explains what Pimentel Paintings (pimentelpaintings.com) collects when you visit, buy a painting or join the email list, and what happens to it.
What I collect
- When you join the email list: your email address.
- When you buy a painting or a commission: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and your order details.
- When you email me: whatever you choose to include.
- When you browse: basic visit information such as pages viewed, browser and device type, and roughly where the visit came from. This is collected through cookies (see below).
I never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by the checkout provider.
How I use it
- To fill and ship your order, and to answer your questions about it.
- To send the email list: new paintings and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages people visit, so the site works better.
I don't sell your information.
Who it's shared with
Only the services the site needs to run:
- Squarespace, which hosts the site, the store, the email list and the site's analytics.
- Squarespace Payments and its payment partners (for example Stripe), which process card payments. If you choose Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna or another option at checkout, that provider handles the payment under its own privacy policy.
- The shipping carrier, which gets your name and address to deliver your painting.
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks the email signup form for spam.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that Squarespace needs to run, such as the cart and security, plus optional analytics cookies. The cookie banner lets you accept or decline the optional ones, and you can change your choice anytime with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of the page.
The site doesn't respond differently to a browser's "Do Not Track" signal. Use the cookie banner instead. As far as I know, no other company collects information through this site about your activity across other websites, apart from the services listed above.
Seeing or changing your information
Email hello@pimentelpaintings.com to see, correct or delete what I have about you. You can leave the email list anytime with the unsubscribe link in any email.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this page
If this page changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
